Plot

Set in 208 A.D., during the waning moments of the Han Dynasty, cunning Prime Minister Cao persuades the easily swayed Emperor Han that the only path to unify China is through warfare against the western kingdom of Xu and the southern kingdom of East Wu. This initiation of an extraordinary military campaign leaves the kingdoms of Xu and East Wu with no choice but to forge an unexpected alliance, combining their forces to resist Cao's ambitions and protect their sovereignty from the looming threat.
