Plot
In 1941, Kay's idyllic life with her husband takes a turn when he enlists following Pearl Harbor. Defying his wishes, she secures a job at a nearby aircraft factory, where she befriends Hazel, a talented singer. Together with their co-workers, they quickly adapt and excel in their new roles. As the war continues, Kay's relationship with her charming trumpet-playing foreman complicates her life further, leading to personal and professional challenges.
