Plot

Annie, a waitress, is trying to move on from her troubled marriage to Glenn, her suicidal alcoholic ex-husband. Recently transformed into a zealous evangelical, Glenn's unpredictable behavior raises concerns as he attempts to reconnect with her. Meanwhile, high schooler Arthur, employed at Annie's diner, develops a bond with new girl Lila. The town is thrown into turmoil when Glenn and Annie's daughter disappears, prompting a frantic search. As Glenn's instability escalates, the community grapples with the mounting tension and fear surrounding the unfolding crisis.
