Plot
Set in late 15th century China, a Taoist priest known as The Master is bound by destiny to confront the Japanese Demon King, a malevolent spirit with dominion over the forest. The Demon King, infatuated with a woman named Gigi, kidnaps her to become his bride. As The Master engages in an epic showdown, both are unexpectedly swept into a time vortex, landing in modern Hong Kong, 500 years later. There, they encounter Gigi's reincarnation, now entangled with her dangerous ex-boyfriend, Ben, who poses a new threat to her safety.
