Plot
Set in 2159, society is sharply divided between the affluent residents of the pristine space station Elysium and the overcrowded, decaying Earth below. Secretary Rhodes, a ruthless government official, fiercely enforces anti-immigration policies to maintain the elite's luxurious existence. Meanwhile, desperate Earth inhabitants attempt to breach Elysium's defenses. When Max finds himself in a perilous situation, he reluctantly accepts a high-stakes mission. Success could not only secure his own survival but also pave the way for equality between the two disparate worlds, challenging the oppressive status quo.
