Plot
Eve Mason, a woman of mixed heritage who can pass for white, relocates to a secluded cottage left to her by her deceased father. There, she meets her charming neighbor, Hugh Van Allen, a black settler, and the two develop a romantic connection. However, their budding relationship faces peril as a group of racist opportunists schemes to seize the valuable land Van Allen occupies, resorting to any means necessary to fulfill their malicious intentions.
