Plot
Set in 1977 Dublin, the city pulsates with the sounds of Thin Lizzy as news of Elvis Presley’s death reverberates worldwide. Frankie, navigating the awkwardness of adolescence and plagued by insecurities, just finished his final exams but fears the worst. As summer unfolds, he attempts to organize a beach party, grappling with infatuations for two seemingly unattainable girls, while also dealing with the unwanted attention of a visiting American family friend. Amidst all this, he must navigate life with his eccentric family, adding to the chaos of his transitional year.
