Plot

Emily Delahunty, a quirky British romance author, resides in picturesque Umbria, Italy. Her tranquil life shatters when a terrorist bombing targets her train. Awakening in a hospital, she offers refuge to three fellow survivors at her charming villa. Among them are The General, a retired British Army officer grappling with his past, Werner, a troubled young German man, and Aimee, a mute American girl deeply affected by the loss of her parents in the attack. As they heal together, unexpected bonds form, revealing the resilience of the human spirit amidst tragedy.
