Plot
In this romantic comedy, an honest Mexican immigrant struggles to make ends meet while selling oranges on the street, all without a green card. One day, a limousine pulls up, and he receives a check for $1,000,000 with a catch: he must return it in 30 days. Initially, he uses the check to secure credit, which leads to unexpected luxuries. Along the way, he catches the eye of a woman trapped in a controlling relationship with her businessman boyfriend. As the deadline approaches, his newfound life begins to unravel, with repossessions and an eviction threatening to send him back to Mexico.
