Plot
Set in 1930s Glace Bay, Cape Breton Island, a Roman Catholic teenager grapples with the challenges of adolescence. Torn between aspirations of becoming a priest and the heavy burden of having witnessed a murder committed by a respected local cop, he faces a moral dilemma. Complicating matters further, his romantic involvement with the murderer's daughter adds tension to his already tumultuous life. As he navigates these pressures, he must confront his beliefs, loyalty, and the harsh realities of his small-town community.
