Plot
In "Switchback," FBI agent Frank Lacrosse suspects that a notorious serial killer has kidnapped his son, prompting him to journey to Amarillo, Texas, where he believes the perpetrator is hiding. Officially removed from the case due to its emotional weight, Frank nonetheless persists in chasing the murderer, raising alarms for local sheriff Buck Olmstead. When a new victim surfaces at a local car garage, Frank realizes he is on the brink of uncovering the killer's whereabouts, intensifying his determination to bring him to justice.
