Plot

After five decades in Taiwan, Liu makes his way back to Shanghai, driven by the desire to reconnect with his first love, Qiao, whom he left pregnant all those years ago. However, he discovers that Qiao has moved on and built a life with her own family. Undeterred, Liu is resolute in seeking the family's blessing to take Qiao away, hoping to rekindle their past romance despite the complexities of her current life. His journey becomes a poignant exploration of love, regret, and the passage of time.
