Plot
Orphaned after their father's death in the Boer War, brothers Harry and Davy leave their Scottish home to stay with their stern grandfather and grandmother in Nova Scotia. Longing for a dog, their hopes are dashed when their grandfather dismisses the idea. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they discover an abandoned baby and choose to care for it. Unbeknownst to them, the infant's past might hold secrets that complicate their newfound responsibility. As they navigate their new life, the brothers face challenges that test their bonds and courage.
