Episode Overview
Sarah and Lisa continue to support Queenie, who opens up about her four children, none of whom keep in touch. Because of this, she feels that having a house is pointless, as it would be empty. They help her find sheltered accommodation, but Queenie undermines their efforts. Later, the mayor steps in to assist her by purchasing a new bench for her to enjoy outside Patchetts Pacific. Meanwhile, Paul discovers that Nev was behind the hit-and-run and confronts him. Nev reveals he covered for George when a child died due to George's negligence while intoxicated. After the baby from the hit-and-run tragically dies, George tells Nev he can no longer protect him. Ernie organizes a dinner for the mayor to secure Patchetts Pacific as the venue for council lunches, while George expresses his deep feelings for Martha.
