Episode Overview
The hunt for Georgia Rae and her organization intensifies, leading Stivers to confide in Gee about the Luther Mahoney shooting that ignited the chaos. Meanwhile, Ballard and Gharty focus on their recovery. A breakthrough in locating Georgia Rae emerges, and during a raid, her body is discovered. Bayliss is shot while shielding Pembleton. Gee urges Pembleton to investigate the shooting that triggered the turmoil. Working alongside Falsone, they question Lewis and later Kellerman, who ultimately claims the blame for the incident. In a bid to shield Stivers and Lewis from legal repercussions, Kellerman resigns. Weighed down by guilt over Bayliss's injury and Gee’s plans for a cover-up, Pembleton decides it's time to step down.
