Episode Overview
Falsone and Lewis delve into the murder of a man found dead in his backyard, notably missing his nose. Meanwhile, Ballard and Gharty probe the killing of a bartender at a local strip club. As they canvass the neighborhood, Falsone suspects a neighbor may be hiding something, a hunch echoed by the woman's husband during questioning. The medical examiners experience an unprecedented day, completing numerous autopsies but unexpectedly discovering an unidentified body. Munch and Bayliss hesitate to take action without a crime scene. Ultimately, Griscom uncovers the scene within the morgue freezer. Ballard advises Gharty to rethink his drinking habits. Falsone's suspicions about the neighbor prove accurate when MGee reveals ties to the Witness Protection Program. With MGee's call, plans to relocate the family are initiated, and Falsone and Lewis apprehend their suspect just as federal agents arrive.
