Episode Overview
The Heelers are summoned to the Mt. Thomas cemetery to investigate the vandalism of graves, and Tom is devastated to find that Nell's grave has been among those targeted. An obscene message has been spray-painted on her headstone, igniting Tom's anger and determination to track down the perpetrators. Father Brian Hegarty mentions that only the Catholic section was affected, coinciding with a recent basketball defeat of the Blue Lite team by St Stephen's. As the coach, Nick defends his players, but suspicion falls on Jed Russell, a Legacy charge of Tom's. Despite Tom's instinct to protect Jed, Nick, Maggie, and PJ must convince him to confront the young man. That night, Father Brian takes it upon himself to investigate further, ultimately leading the Heelers to another desecrated grave—this time, it belongs to Alice and her partner.
