Episode Overview
Captain Cotter McCoy (Lou Diamond Phillips) represents a groundbreaking evolution in warfare. He is part of a classified initiative led by Dr. Greg Olander (Robert Joy), General Langston Chase (Dale Wilson), and his friend, Colonel Pete Butler (Scott Kraft), which allows his consciousness to be temporarily transferred into an android replica. This transformation results in a nearly invincible combat unit infused with human intelligence and experience. However, disaster strikes when the transfer malfunctions. An electrical surge halts McCoy's heart, causes severe brain damage, and traps his consciousness within the android. To complicate matters, the connection between his mind and the machine is unstable, and his motor functions are already deteriorating, with the system likely failing within 12 hours.
