Episode Overview
In a fit of jealousy, a husband blames a divorce video for his marriage's downfall and kidnaps Becker at gunpoint, compelling him to drive to Barstow to confront his unhappy wife. Meanwhile, a corrupt politician offers McKenzie a federal judgeship, contingent on persuading Sifuentes to halt an investigation into the politician’s involvement in a deadly construction scandal. Brackman feels disheartened after overhearing colleagues express doubts about his potential as senior partner after McKenzie's exit. Sifuentes transitions from disappointment in her client’s capitulation to admiration for McKenzie’s steadfast integrity. Melman lashes out when Meyer highlights her feelings for Becker.
