Episode Overview
Oscar Blenny, a shy bank clerk, learns that his wife Eva has been unfaithful. Heartbroken, he asks for a divorce, and while Eva agrees, she demands a hefty $50,000 settlement. She suggests he steal the money from the bank, but Oscar hesitates. Soon after, Eva's menacing boyfriend, Bill Grant, approaches him with a sinister plan. Bill offers to kill Eva for $250,000 and proposes they rob the bank together, allowing Bill to escape and leaving Oscar seemingly blameless. Oscar, however, devises a clever triple-cross. After Bill eliminates Eva, Oscar surprises him during the robbery, shooting him dead. This act of bravery earns Oscar a promotion to credit manager.
