Episode Overview
In the rugged volcanic mountains of Kapecapek, Speed finds himself in a bizarre race. Kadar and his crew stumble upon diamonds embedded in the rocky wall. As a creeping vine ensnares his men, they manage to escape while Kadar holds Kabala at gunpoint. In a swift move, Speed hurls a knife, disarming Kadar. A brawl breaks out, leading to Kabala’s mask falling away to reveal Racer X. Just as Racer X is about to explain, the ground collapses beneath them. Kadar and his gang make off with the Kapecapekian treasure. Speed and Racer X manage to escape and Racer X shares that the true Kabala taught him essential racing techniques. After becoming a professional, Racer X faced a tragic race against his mentor, who perished in a landslide. To honor Kabala’s legacy, Racer X assumed his identity to safeguard the treasure.
