Episode Overview
At the racetrack, the Stunt Car Spectacular delivers promises of "action and thrills." Two competitors make an attempt to launch off a ramp and soar over a pile of cars, but they crash. Daredevil Snake Oiler, part of the Car Acrobatic Team, encourages Speed to give it a shot. Instead, Speed throws down the gauntlet, challenging Snake to the Big Alpine Race. Later, Speed and Pops navigate a tricky part of the course where drivers must leap over a treacherous chasm, avoiding the river 1,000 feet below. At the location, the Car Acrobatic Team showcases their stunning aerial maneuvers over the canyon. Just before Speed's turn, Racer X shares some tips. Back at Pops' garage, Pops expresses his curiosity about the secrets behind the Car Acrobatic vehicles. Spritle and Chim Chim overhear and decide to sneak out at night to observe the team.
