Episode Overview
Lauren stops by Dean & DeLuca to inform everyone that she’s moving the next day and expects Ben to help her out. In the midst of this, she lashes out at Felicity, accusing both her and Ben of being selfish. Felicity attempts to admit to her plagiarism, but Professor Carnes cuts in, believing in Felicity’s innocence and rescheduling the hearing for the next day. Felicity then discovers that Ben has been hurt in a car accident; while Lauren has minor injuries, the baby is fine. She overhears a doctor mention that Lauren was driving under the influence. After being discharged from the hospital while Ben is still in surgery, Lauren leaves, prompting Felicity to confront her. Lauren eventually returns to apologize, admitting she let her issues get the best of her and tried to blame others. Felicity convinces her to stay over at her place. Meanwhile, Ben wakes up and begins to heal, and Felicity is happy to see her friends waiting in the hospital.
