Episode Overview

J.D. has achieved the title of the top student, but faces stiff competition from the amiable Nick Murdoch, who not only appears friendlier but also has a more attractive physique. Despite his jealousy, J.D. can't help but feel compassion when he discovers Nick sobbing in a corner, overwhelmed by the stresses of his medical internship. Meanwhile, Turk struggles during surgery but keeps his challenges hidden from Carla, who is increasingly concerned and turns to Dr. Cox for answers. Dr. Cox offers Turk an unconventional piece of advice to help him regain his composure before the operation.
