Mama is up late, anxiously waiting for Bubba's return when Vint and Naomi come in, excited about a new bestseller they’ve just purchased. The book offers couples tips for conceiving, and one suggestion they’re eager to try involves changing locations. When Bubba finally arrives, he introduces his new study partner, a girl named Toni Malone. Mama goes into a panic, insisting on supervising them until Bubba threatens to move into the college's co-ed dorm, which finally persuades her to go to bed. The next morning, while tidying up Bubba’s room, they discover a black lace bra in his sheets. Assuming it belongs to Toni, Mama tries to get Bubba to confess during dinner, but he remains tight-lipped. Inspired by the situation, Mama and Iola decide to sew bells onto his mattress to catch him if he and Toni get too close. However, as they work, they hear someone approaching and quickly hide in the closet.
