Title: The Curse of Rapkyn Plot: In the third episode of the first season, Hexworth Farm faces a dire financial crisis, with Mr. Bennett, portrayed by Charles Tingwell, facing an overdraft of 800 pounds. Convinced that a curse haunts the farm, Carrot turns to Catweazle for assistance. They believe a local museum owner might provide valuable insights from historical texts, prompting them to visit. Catweazle inadvertently creates chaos by letting "touchwood" loose, startling a group of schoolgirls. Ultimately, he discovers the book of Rapkyn, revealing that two stones hidden on the farm—one in the chimney and the other in an old well—are essential to lifting the curse. Their quest leads to comedic moments, but they successfully retrieve the stones, which also complete a rare artifact at the museum. In turn, Mr. Bennett receives 800 pounds, alleviating his financial woes.
