Episode Overview
Catweazle misplaces his cherished witchknife, the "adamcos," which Mr. Bennet stumbles upon during a stroll in the woods. Initially hesitant to venture back due to "the Normans," a local group dressed as soldiers for a pageant, Mr. Bennet heads into town, believing he can sell it at an antique shop. The shop's flamboyant owner is busy crafting costumes for the event, and Mr. Bennet gifts him the adamcos. To keep customers away, the owner hangs a closed sign. When Carrot and Catweazle arrive and see the sign, Catweazle casts a spell to open the door, but the shop is empty. As Catweazle searches for the knife, he becomes anxious, especially after mistaking his reflection for his spirit. Just then, Mr. Bennet appears.
