Episode Overview
The master carpenter's workshop is steadily coming together as Richard Trethewey installs radiant floor heating tubes atop rigid insulation. We meet Steve Hayes, the audio/visual systems contractor, who gives us a sneak peek of the future media room and takes us to a showroom to explore various equipment choices. Randy Levere presents a virtual tour of the new workshop while the team dismantles the poorly constructed old kitchen addition. Brooks Washburn, the paint stripper, applies a paraffin-based paste to strip away countless layers of paint from the front staircase, with our host suggesting it could also work on the historic front facade. Finally, concrete is delivered to finalize the workshop floor.
