Fran possesses two coveted tickets to the launch party for Michael Bolton's new album, prompting her to invite Mr. Sheffield on a romantic evening. However, a sudden, alarming rash erupts across her skin, leading her to the hospital just as Mr. Sheffield prepares for their first night together. There, an inept doctor administers a cortisone shot, causing Fran to balloon in size. Their planned romantic escape is thwarted, all due to Sylvia's pasta dish filled with squash, which triggers Fran's allergic reaction.
