Episode Overview
Lauren Chapman treats her daughter, Darcy, to a hotel weekend for her birthday, but Darcy secretly invites her father, Dr. Frank Chapman, hoping to rekindle their fractured relationship. Unfortunately, she realizes that mending their marriage is impossible. Mrs. Cabot advises Darcy that she cannot control how others live their lives. Meanwhile, Harry Gilford attempts to orchestrate an accident to secure a free second honeymoon for him and his wife, but his plans backfire. After admitting his failure, Harry ends up heroically saving a hotel guest, earning them complimentary accommodations. Meanwhile, the plain guest, Mary Morowsky, becomes infatuated with Peter, leading to bizarre attempts to win his affection through her alter ego, "Monique." When Peter rejects her advances, Monique resorts to violence with scissors during their confrontation.
