Episode Overview
Adele Ellsworth, along with her sons Luther and Brendon, and relative Edgar, takes Mrs. Cabot, Peter, and Christine hostage, seeking retribution for the death of Adele's husband, Ellis, a worker who perished at the hotel two years prior. They blame Mrs. Cabot for pressuring employees to work late, which led to Ellis's fatal fall. In response, Mrs. Cabot counters that the foreman never alerted her to any safety issues. Ultimately, Edgar confesses he misled the family; Ellis had actually fallen after a drunken rendezvous with another woman. Meanwhile, Billy introduces Mark to Doris O'Neil, a go-go dancer with dreams of being an interior designer. Doris, needing Mark's assistance to support her lie about working on hotel decor and their supposed relationship, enlists his help to convince her family.
