Episode Overview
Eight-year-old Amy is assaulted during her stay at a hotel, leading her stepfather, Phil Jamison, to wrongfully accuse Hank Miller, a male college student who works as the hotel babysitter. Out of fear, Amy initially supports Phil's claim, but she ultimately reveals the truth to Peter: it was her stepfather who harmed her. Meanwhile, Amy's mother, Carole, reassures Phil that Amy will testify against him in court. Chad Lawrence, on a break from the priesthood, struggles with his feelings for a woman named Gerry, unaware she is married. His internal conflict deepens after a talk with his bishop. Additionally, bellman Dave learns of plans to demolish the St. Gregory Hotel for a skyscraper, sparking rumors as he shares the news with Megan.
