Episode Overview
Peter grapples with conflicting emotions when his ex-wife Janet arrives at the hotel, eager to mend their relationship and demonstrate her sobriety. However, after facing challenges that lead her back to drinking, Peter intervenes during a suicide attempt. The following morning, Janet shares her wish to celebrate a year of sobriety with an anniversary cake, and Peter vows to support her. Meanwhile, Penny arranges a blind date for her sister Nancy Domenico, but the suitor stands her up due to her appearance. In an attempt to help, Mark offers hotel worker Leo Cooney two Saturdays for dating Nancy. Though their date starts off well, Nancy flees upon discovering Leo was incentivized. Eventually, they reconcile. Additionally, an elderly couple, Donald Brakwell and Edith Krause, escape from a retirement home for a thrill, using their son’s credit card, but their escapade leads to unexpected trouble.
