Hotel (1982)
S01E07 Flashback
Episode Overview
At a convention for white supremacists led by Russell Slocum, two elderly African-Americans, Carrie and Garland Fisk, face harassment while on a long-postponed honeymoon. After a shopping trip, they return to find their hotel room ransacked. Frustrated, Garland, disguised as a waiter, infiltrates the banquet and hurls a tray of food at Slocum. Peter informs Slocum that two chambermaids witnessed the group's break-in. He proceeds to pack the racists' belongings and issues a partial refund, deducting the amount owed to the Fisks. Meanwhile, Helen Scofield seeks help for her daughter Andrea, who has been mute since witnessing her father's tragic death. After a doctor suggests institutionalization, Andrea wanders off and meets a street mime named Michael, who inspires her to speak for the first time in a decade, pleading with him not to leave.
