Episode Overview

Ellen Lindstrom finds herself in the presence of British diplomat Anthony Mortlake, who introduces her to heroin. Tragically, later that night, she is discovered dead in the bathroom. When Inspector Alvarez proposes searching for a syringe, Mortlake declines, citing diplomatic immunity. Meanwhile, Joe Lindstrom, Ellen's father, secretly observes Mortlake preparing to inject drugs in his suite and confronts him with a gun, calling for the police. At the hotel, Lisa Herrick anxiously awaits her delayed boyfriend, garnering sympathy from Zack Shepherd. Unbeknownst to him, she's there to discuss an inheritance with attorney Sylvester Sullivan. Meanwhile, Julie juggles romantic interests in two computer convention delegates, Errol and Kaz, while Christine overhears them making a bet.
