Episode Overview

Peter is invited to join a radio talk show hosted by his former girlfriend, Dr. Ann Vargo, a psychologist broadcasting from the hotel's mezzanine. Meanwhile, Christine is busy helping Mrs. Cabot entertain children from the Children's Home, run by Betty Archer, and forms a bond with an eight-year-old girl named Amanda. Christine is thrilled when Amanda comes to stay with her for the night, leading her to realize how much she cherishes the girl. During Peter's radio segment, a caller threatens Ann over their past relationship. After a series of alarming incidents, Peter ensures Ann's safety by moving her into the hotel with a guard. When Ann attempts to draw out the stalker at the studio, they discover the gunman is Glenn, a new bellman. Peter subdues Glenn and hands him over to Billy. Meanwhile, Christine contemplates the possibility of adopting Amanda.
