Charles Canfield, the owner of a renowned English hotel, and his daughter Mary seek to entice their friend Peter to relocate to London and take charge of the hotel. Mary harbors romantic feelings for Peter, which he reciprocates, sparking jealousy in Christina. The allure of part ownership, along with Mary’s charm, makes the opportunity tempting for Peter.
