The High Chaparral (1967)

Episode Overview

Buck and Manolito launch a daring mission to liberate a white girl held captive by the Apache tribe. During their escape, they successfully rescue Ann, who has endured five years as an Apache slave, but her weak sister, Olive, is taken back by their captors. Desperate for help, John seeks assistance from a nearby Army unit, but they are ambushed and killed before they can intervene. Undeterred, Buck and Manolito enter the Apache stronghold unarmed, hoping to negotiate for Ann's release. The Apache chief and the medicine man agree to let them leave with her, but only if Manolito can pass a test of bravery.
