Gimme a Break! (1981)

Episode Overview

The Mayor of Glenlawn becomes infatuated with Nell, who has no interest in him. He tries to win her over by promising that the chief will receive a new patrol car if he can win her heart. At his condo, Nell flirts with him, prompting him to point out her advances. She confronts him about his past behavior towards her, and he expresses his regret. He assures her he’ll see her at the ceremony where he’ll present the patrol car to the chief.
