Episode Overview

The chief receives the honor of Man of the Year, and Nell decides to set him up with a woman named Melissa. Unbeknownst to the chief, Melissa is actually a transgender woman who used to be Officer Simpson's karate instructor in St. Louis. When Melissa realizes things have escalated too quickly, she confides in Nell, who is then faced with the awkward task of revealing to the chief that she has inadvertently matched him with a man. This revelation leads to chaos and confusion.
