Episode Overview

Nell's day takes a turn for the worse when Sal Bonaducci raises the repair cost on her car, and the library mistakenly charges Joey for a late book. When Nell heads to the library to return it, an earthquake strikes, shaking the building multiple times. She finds herself stuck in the basement office with a deaf woman. As they wait, Nell discovers a shared bond with her companion through their mutual faith and the crosses they both wear. Ultimately, the Chief arrives and informs them that he will be cutting through the ceiling to rescue them.
