Episode Overview
Nell has landed a new role as a book editor, but it means spending less time with the boys. When Joey mentions he’s participating in a Walk-A-Thon fundraiser and seeks sponsors, Nell worries about letting him go out alone with Matthew in New York City. Grandpa, however, disagrees. Joey also needs to take Matthew to his guitar lesson. After school, he decides to gather sponsors and brings Matt along. At a doctor’s office, Joey tells Matt to wait for him, but Matt hears music next door and sneaks in to jam with a band. When Joey realizes Matt is missing, he searches frantically for him. Back home, he asks Marty for help, prompting Marty to call the police. When Nell arrives, Marty informs her of the situation, and she scolds Joey for losing Matt. Eventually, Marty locates Matt and brings him home, leading to tension between the brothers.
