Overview
Chilly Beach, a Canadian animated series that premiered in 2003 on CBC and The Comedy Channel in Australia, humorously explores life in the fictional town of Chilly Beach. It portrays quintessential Canadian activities such as hockey, beer drinking, and even encounters with polar bears, all while playfully exaggerating national stereotypes. Originally launched as a Flash animation online, the show produced 65 episodes before cancellation halted its third season. A feature film titled The World Is Hot Enough debuted at Cinéfest in 2005 and was released on DVD in 2008, alongside a second film, The Canadian President.
