Episode Overview
Marion and Adele find themselves at odds while preparing for Thanksgiving dinner, resulting in a chaotic kitchen strewn with food. Marion confronts Malik about his interest in Kim, not realizing he’s merely an actor she hired to disrupt Dwayne and Whitley's relationship. Malik ultimately withdraws from the plan and chooses to support the rally for Haitians instead. Meanwhile, Adele and Marion are mistakenly arrested as protesters. When they learn from Freddie that Dwayne and Whitley are financially struggling, they bond over their mutual dissatisfaction with their children's marriage. Upon returning home, Adele confesses to Dwayne that her real sorrow stems from missing his wedding. Whitley reassures her mother of her happiness, leading to reconciliations all around. Shazza reveals to Freddie that she's aware of his relationship with Ron but is torn between them, prompting her to end things.
