Episode Overview
The discovery of SAS officer Tom Sunderland's body in a shallow grave thrusts DI Ken Jackson into a tangled love affair involving Sunderland's wife, Lucy, and his close friend, army officer Sean Brook. Joanna, the deceased's GP, becomes more entwined in the investigation when she recalls that Sunderland confided in her weeks earlier about fearing for his life due to his wife's intentions. Was his death the result of a passionate act, or was he merely suffering from paranoia? The Dangerfields face a somber day as they gather with Joanna to mourn Alison's boyfriend, Ben. Overwhelmed with guilt, Alison spirals into despair and drunkenly propositions one of Ben's friends. Meanwhile, Marty decides to leave his dishwasher job behind and pursue a new path by returning to university to study disabled sports.
