At just 15, Robbie McIntosh entered a local fish and chip shop to share the shocking news of a woman's murder on the famous Law Hill. Panic gripped the community as it was revealed that she had been brutally stabbed multiple times. Authorities were stunned to discover the perpetrator was a teenager. As police moved in to arrest him, McIntosh attempted to escape to Glasgow airport, where he bought a ticket to Canada but was apprehended. Fast forward to 2017, after being granted home leave, McIntosh was released but lasted only five days before he attacked a female dog walker with a heavy dumbbell in the woods. Thankfully, the woman survived, and McIntosh was captured within an hour. With a history of violence, he remains eligible for release in 2022, leaving Dundee in a state of unease.
