Episode Overview

Victoria Greenley (Anne Francis) arrives in Medicine Bow with the intention of opening a law practice, but faces opposition from those who believe a woman shouldn't be in such a profession. After some hesitation, the Virginian persuades her to take his case against a saddle-maker. Victoria wins the case, sparking a romantic connection between them. However, their relationship becomes strained when Victoria decides to defend a group of men accused of illegally entering Shiloh land, placing her at odds with the Virginian.
