Episode Overview

Kate's old elementary school teacher, Miss Adelaide "Genghis" Keane, returns to Hooterville, prompting nostalgic reflections among Kate and her daughters about her notorious strictness. To their surprise, they discover that the once-feared educator has softened with age. Eager to help, they rally together to restore Miss Keane's former self-esteem. However, it isn't long before she reverts to her old authoritarian ways, causing Kate and her daughters to second-guess their efforts. Just as Kate prepares to address the issue, Miss Keane realizes she's gone too far and is alienating those around her. Kate devises a plan to restore Miss Keane's joy.
