Episode Overview

Barney Dawson and Max James have broken out of prison, creating a stir in the community. Meanwhile, Uncle Joe, a member of the Criminal Investigators' Alliance, criticizes Sam for the post office's lack of security. He suggests that posting the criminals' pictures could lead to rewards for their capture. Sgt. Horton from the state police visits and informs them that Barney and Max may be nearby, but there’s no bounty on their heads. Later that night, the fugitives make an unexpected appearance at the hotel. Thanks to Dog's instincts, Sam and Sgt. Horton arrive just in time to apprehend them.
