S03E01 Nancy's Mom
Episode Overview
Nancy and Elliot are on the path to mending their relationship, much to the chagrin of her visiting mother, Eleanor. While spending time at Michael and Hope's, they discuss Nancy's upcoming book. Nancy expresses that although her mother is generally supportive, she can drive her crazy. After a sweet goodbye kiss, Eleanor arrives and inquires about Matt, but Nancy hints at her rekindled connection with Elliot. At dinner with Eleanor and the kids, tension arises when Eleanor openly disapproves of Elliot and his idea for a "monster doll" book tie-in. Later, as Eleanor refuses to let Nancy and Elliot have privacy, Elliot sneaks back into Nancy’s room through the window. When he’s caught raiding the fridge downstairs, Nancy confides in her mother about her renewed romance, but Eleanor remains reluctant to forgive him.
